Home today for the what seems like the first time since october.   The shows with Cheyenne Medders were an adventure.  It was my first time to Montreal and hopefully won't be the last.   Soon after, I hit the road with The Ringing Bell tour ( Derek Webb & Sandra McCracken ).  We were out for about a month of rock n' roll, spit up and good times.  You can check out the video blogs i've been putting up here . As this line of work tends to do, we've gone from "draught" to "flood" this month.  (The flood part is the 2-3 week span we're in the middle of right now).  I've got an art show coming up at Urban Decor in East Nashville. It begins August 18, so drop by.  I just sent the new design for Cheyenne Medders' new record, Kiss With Busted Lips, to press (check out the images in the cd design section ).  It's going to be a busy season here, I think. Does it ever feel like you're always on the cusp of a new and improved direction? It's like a monthly New Year's resolution. Well, I have that New Year's resolution feeling today. just a quick update. Recently finished some photos and design for Christy Nockels of Watermark. Chris Mason's new record that i got to do the design for is out and ready for the world. uploaded new designs and photos to the flickr site. www.flick.com/photos/jordanbrooke/sets it's just so much easier right now. more to come soon and very soon. fun things are in the makings.
